Professional Services are looking for energetic, dedicated and career-driven individuals to join our Professional Services team. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to learn and gain experience. You will be provided with all the training necessary and given the support to advance in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring data on customer sites
  • Communicate to customer that data is available for transmission to Telcotec FTP server
  • Retrieve monitoring data from Telcotec FTP server
  • Unpack and load monitoring data into local database
  • Run processing routines to extract exceptions
  • Run performance graph generation procedure
  • Present data to senior engineer for analysis
  • Produce report for customer on monitoring results, and transmit same to customer
  • Document and record status of all monitoring activities by customer
  • Work and report within a team environment with other junior and senior engineers
  • Make recommendations on improvements to the monitoring process
  • Provide an update of monitoring schedule and status at weekly group meeting

Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in IT, Engineering or Computer Science
  • 1 years industry experience desirable
  • Some experience with UNIX
  • Scripting ability and experience of SQL is an advantage
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems independently
  • Desire to learn and assimilate technical expertise
  • Ability to communicate in clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • Methodical approach to work and attention to detail
  • Experience of dealing with customers in professional manner
